Chris Draheim has over 10 years of professional experience in set construction and design and rigging. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Lighting and Scenery Design from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Chris possesses a broad range of professional expertise, having worked on several films as construction coordinator and Art Director, as well as lead rigger for many live aerial performances, including Cirque de Soleil..

An expert in theatre set design and lighting, Chris has for the past several years primarily worked as project management in event design and rigging for several public awards ceremonies such as the Grammy’s, Golden Globes, Academy Awards, and numerous large-scale private events such as celebrity weddings and corporate events including Fox Sports Super Bowl.

In the past 15 years, Chris has developed proficiency as a master carpenter and electrician, rigging supervisor, CM certified motor technician, metal fabricator, and lighting technician.

He is also experienced in hand and CAD drafting and has several years of experience implementing complicated and highly technical designs.

He now serves as supervisor, trainer, and project manager in all of his current work. Frequently traveling internationally as project manager for Angel City Designs, which specializes in large-scale, high budget, high profile events.

Clearly, Chris vast array of professional experience made him the man to bring reality to Burke's vision of skewed physics and A-cemetrics. Also highly skilled in budget management and crew coordination, he was able to work through monetary and labor constraints without compromising any aspects of THE ENGINE’S outcome.
